I have been a software professional for most of my adult life, working on everything from large, high-throughput enterprise applications to apps for the iPhone and iPad. Although I am a computer geek by trade, I have had a life-long fascination with and respect for railroading. L Coleman
Lester Coleman was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Accounting and Management Information Systems (MIS), from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio and an MBA from Texas A&M University – Commerce in Commerce, Texas.

Mr. Coleman has worked in the financial industry for over 13 years. He is currently employed at one of the area's largest law offices, where he works as a Sr. Accountant. Mr. Coleman has had a deep fascination with all things mechanical since his childhood, which is a major influence on his interest in the Texas Rail Advocates. Among his many interests growing up in Dallas were the railroad and trains. He actually worked for Santa Fe Trail Transportation while in High School, however his experience was with the trucking industry and not the railroad. But, he never lost his enthusiasm or curiosity for trains and the railroad industry, therefore he's excited about having such a unique opportunity to have an impact on the future of rail in Texas and it's corresponding impact on the environment.
